Our Story
T49 was born in 1949 in Ortona, when Donato Tortella and his brother Michele began producing agricultural machines. Years later, their son Carlo continued the business with the support of his wife Maria. Today, the third generation—Donato and Gabriele Tortella—carries on the tradition with the same passion and expertise.
The “T” stands for Tortella, but also for “terreno” (land), which represents the fields we have always worked with dedication and innovation.
Today, the company presents itself with a new brand and renewed energy. Thanks to the continued support of long-standing collaborators, T49 continues its journey following a well-established legacy.
For us, a company is—and always will be—a large family.

Agriculture is the main wealth of this land.
We were born manufacturing agricultural machinery for farmers in this area and we continue, even today, to work for farmers all over the world.
